Chlorociboria aeruginascens (Nyl.) Kanouse ex C.S. Ramamurthi, Korf & L.R. Batra

This would be the most common Chlorociboria in NZ. Diam: 2–5 mm.

Chlorociboria halonata

This species has an obvious stipe. Diam: 1.5–3 mm.

Chlorociboria argentinensis J.R. Dixon

Diam: 2–5 mm.

Chlorociboria

All Chlorociboria species attack wood, staining it a blue-green colour. There are 15 described species in NZ. The stained wood is sought after by woodworkers and crafts people.
