Trichocoleaceae
The leaves of the plants in this family are very finely divided. This can give the plants a "fluffy" appearance. In fact, when looked at under magnification, the leaves are made up almost entirely of cilia (fine hair-like structures).
Trichcolea hatcheri
This one has quite a woolly appearance to it.
It is found on old logs in damp areas.
Trichocolea mollissima
Easily recogniseable with it light coloured pinnate leaves.
It prefers quite damp conditions, growing on old stumps and logs.
This image show a sporophyte of T. mollissima.
