Pterostylis banksii

One of the large green-hooded orchids - 20-30 cm tall. Common throughout the country. Found alongside tracks, flowering in spring. Insect pollinated.

 Pterostylis cardiostigma.

It is quite distinctive with its upright stance. The name means heart-shaped stigma, which you will find if you carefully examine the inside of the flower.

Spring-flowering. The ones I have found have been in more open areas eg. at the edge of the bush.

Pterostylis trullifolia - a smaller green-hooded orchid, with different foliage - the leaves are small and heart-shaped, growing in a rosette.

Flowers late winter in this area.
