|Acianthus sinclairii - this was known as A. fornicatus.
Has a small green heart-shaped leaf often with purple markings.
Common throughout much of the North Is, also Nelson and Stewart Is.
Flowering from May to October. Mainly insect pollinated.
Often found along the edges of tracks in lowland bush.
It can be difficult to see as the flowers tend to blend in with the surroundings.
