Entoloma hochstetteri

The brilliant blue one! (Where are the Smurfs??)

There is no mistaking this one for anything else.

The stem is always blue, and twisted. The gills are also blue, but can have a reddish tinge to them because of the spore colour.

Most of the ones I have found in this area have been growing singly, but occasionally I have found 2 or 3 growing close together.
