Mastigophora flagellifera

This is a pendulous plant found mainly on tree trunks but sometimes on rock faces. The stem tips are usually turned upwards.

This image shows the underneath side of some branches of Mastigophora.
The underleaves on the stem are usually evenly quadrifid, whereas those on a branch usually have two larger segments and two smaller lateral teeth as shown in this image.
